The LANDPOD NEST

If you want a unique, instagram-worthy place to stay, you're going to love this place! The Nest (formally known as the Landpod Loft) @ Big Sky hides away in a snug of trees, making it a really private escape and the perfect place to relax, catch-up and while away the hours.

A spacious, happy home from home, the Nest sleeps up to six people in three doubles and the biggest challenge you'll have is deciding who has which bed, will yours be either one of the two double bunks downstairs, or the double bed upstairs?!

As you enter the Nest you'll find plenty of space for bags, coats and belongings. A table with booth seating awaits for meals and games, and the downstairs wings both open up in true Landpod style, perfect for summer days where an extra breeze is welcome.

The Nest is set in its own private garden, where you'll find a picnic table, firepit and seating, covered field kitchen with pots, pans and a gas hob. And a hammock stand too!

Hire of the Nest includes:​

• Comfy accommodation for up to 6; two double mattresses are downstairs in bunk format and one is upstairs

• We provide bedsheets, mattresses and toppers but ask guests to bring their own pillows, duvets (or sleeping bags), and covers

• Exclusive use of the Landpod Nest, private seating and fire bowl

• 2 x 100W solar powered power pack (these power lights in the Nest and have usb charging points for your phone and tablets). The power system is not suitable for high draw items like hair dryers, slow cookers etc!

• Seating for six

• Hammock stand (outside)

• Sheltered camp kitchen with single hob burner and basic camping crockery, cutlery, mugs and cooking equipment

• 40l cool box (we replenish with ice packs when needed)

• Unlimited fresh water

• Private woodland eco loo​ (shared only with the nearby Eden Lodge Landpod)

• 2 grass parking spots for guests (there are more a five minute walk away in the main carpark)

While we love animals we can't allow pets on site as they stress our alpacas out.

PS. If you're not a fan of bugs, flies, spiders, fresh air, the distant sound of tractors or cows or anything much to do with being outside in the countryside, our site may not be your ideal getaway!
PPS. There’s a weight limit of 175kg upstairs in the Nest. Please don’t overcrowd (no more than two average adults), and if you think you’d need a bit of space we’d recommend the YesBus or Schoolbus
